1 packet spring roll wrapper
100g white sesame seeds
2 egg whites
2 tbsp meat curry powder (Babas brand)
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp chicken stock granules
4 cups oil for deep-frying
- Lay a piece of spring roll wrapper on a work surface. Brush with egg white and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Roll up.
- Heat up oil for deep-frying. Meanwhile, cut the rolled spring roll wrappers into small pieces.
- Deep-fry in hot oil until slightly brown, lower the heat and continue to fry until golden brown. Dish and drain. Leave to cool.
- Put seasoning into a plastic bag and shake until well mixed. Add in the fried crispy rolls, shake until well coated with seasoning. Serve or store in an airtight container.
