- 甜酱 ：把材料倒入镬里，拌煮至浓稠，盛起待用。
25g vegetarian belacan
50g ground toasted peanuts
75ml peanut oil
25ml sesame oil
1 ½ tbsp dark soya sauce
75g red sweet sauce
30ml peanut oil
15ml sesame oil
20g chee cheong fun
Some sesame oil
Some toasted sesame seeds and ground peanuts
Some vegetarian shrimp sambal *
- Vegetarian shrimp paste sauce : Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until very smooth. Pour the mixture into a saucepan, stir and cook until thick. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Sweet sauce : Put all ingredients into a saucepan, stir and cook until the sauce has thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Steam chee cheong fun until hot and cut into small sections. Drizzle vegetarian shrimp paste sauce and red sauce over it.
- Lastly drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds and ground peanuts on top. Serve hot.
