700g spare ribs, cut into pieces
2 tbsp oil
1 onion, peeled and cut into pieces
1 tomato, cut into pieces
1 red chillies, seeded and cut into pieces
1 small capsicum, seeded and cut into pieces
1 tbsp Crispy Prawn Chilli XO Sauce
5 tbsp tomato sauce
½ tbsp sugar
½ tsp salt
- Heat up oil and saute onion until aromatic. Add in spare ribs, tomatoes, seasoning until fragrant.
- Add in water and bring to boil. Lower the water and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Lastly add daun Salam, mix well and dish up.
- Add in red chillies, capsicum and stir-fry at high heat until the sauce almost dry. Dish up and serve.
